Month

Checks

Click any cell to change or remove a shift. Checks, hours and cost update straight away. The row under each week compares the people booked with the people needed (floor / kitchen). Striped days belong to another month; last month’s shifts are shown in grey so the rest and days-in-a-row rules can be checked across the change of month.

When the month is finished: file it in the Archive and carry each balance into next month.

Hours, balance & wage cost

Contract = weekly contract hours × days in the month ÷ 7. Balance applies to people with “carry balance” ticked: opening balance + booked − contract. Hourly staff are paid for hours worked, so they carry nothing.

Staff

Key = key-holder (can open or close). Days = days the person can work. Shifts = shift types the person can take. Carry = hours over or under contract roll into next month (for salaried or fixed-contract staff). Balance = hours carried in: + means worked extra, − means owes hours.

How many people each shift needs, per day and per area.

Scheduling rules

The generator never breaks these — including across the change of month. If it can’t fill a shift without breaking one, it leaves the gap and tells you.

Pay (example numbers)

Set these from your own wage agreement. Demo rates are placeholders, roughly in line with the 2026 Efling–SA hotel & restaurant table (base about 2,780–2,980 kr/h; under-18s get a lower percentage). On-costs = payroll tax, employer pension and holiday pay — ask your accountant for your figure.

Hour weights (vægi)

Some shift agreements count evening, weekend or holiday hours as more than one hour toward the contract. 1.00 = off. Weights change the hours owed and the carried balance, not the pay (pay extras are set above). If several apply, the highest counts.
